olla.talk Terms of Service

Published and effective July 10, 2026.

1. Purpose and provider

These Terms govern olla.talk, provided by OllaAI (representative Jeongui Lee, business registration number 551-24-02346, mail-order business report 2026-Gyeonggi Dongducheon-0104, 2488 Pyeonghwa-ro, Dongducheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea).

2. Definitions

  1. A Member creates an account using email or social sign-in.
  2. A Guest temporarily accesses one invited chat room without a Member account.
  3. The Service includes real-time chat, AI translation, images, invitations, contacts, reporting and blocking, notifications, credits, and paid features.
  4. Credits are service units used to measure translation usage. They are not cash or electronic money.

3. Acceptance and changes

You must accept the displayed Terms and required privacy collection notice before creating an account through email or social sign-in. Current Terms are published in the Service and on the website. Material changes are normally announced seven days in advance, and changes materially adverse to users are normally announced 30 days in advance.

4. Accounts

  1. Members must be at least 14 years old and provide accurate information.
  2. You are responsible for protecting your account and authentication methods and must promptly notify us of suspected misuse.
  3. An email verified by a social sign-in provider may be used to link an existing account.

5. Guest access

A Guest can access only the invited room. A Guest session normally lasts 24 hours and cannot be refreshed. The inviter is responsible for sharing invitation links safely.

6. Service and AI translation

  1. Messages may be translated into each participant's preferred language, and original and translated text may be stored.
  2. AI translations can contain errors, omissions, or contextual mistakes. Check the original and obtain professional advice before making important legal, medical, financial, or safety decisions.
  3. Message content may be sent to an external AI processor as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. User content

You retain your rights in messages and images. You must have the right to post any content you send. You grant OllaAI only the permission needed to store, transmit, display, translate, back up, and review reported content while providing and protecting the Service.

8. Prohibited conduct

You may not post or facilitate illegal content, child sexual exploitation material, unlawful sexual content, hate, threats, harassment, impersonation, privacy or intellectual-property violations, spam or repeated unwanted invitations, malware, automated abuse, payment or credit circumvention, reverse engineering, or interference with Service operation.

9. Reports, blocks, and enforcement

Users may report another user's message or block a registered user. A snapshot of the reported message and attachment metadata may be retained as review evidence for up to three years. Blocking restricts direct messages, contact requests, and invitations and may hide that person from the blocker's contacts. After reviewing a report, OllaAI may restrict content, warn a user, limit features, suspend or delete an account, or cooperate with lawful authorities.

10. Credits and paid services

  1. Unless stated otherwise, the room host's credits pay for automatic translation.
  2. Plus pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds follow the checkout disclosure and Payment and Refund Policy.
  3. For purchases processed by an app store, that store's payment and refund rules may also apply.

11. Changes and interruption

Features, supported languages, or AI models may change for security, legal, operational, or external-provider reasons. Emergency maintenance, security incidents, external outages, or force majeure may require limitation without prior notice.

12. Account deletion

Members can delete their account in Settings. Direct account identifiers are deleted. The Member's message content and sender link are removed, and related translations, reactions, and uploaded attachment files are deleted. Message snapshots and attachment metadata already included in submitted reports, and payment or dispute records required by law, may be retained separately with identifying information minimized for the applicable period.

13. Intellectual property

Rights in the Service software, trademarks, design, and OllaAI content belong to OllaAI or the applicable rights holder.

14. Responsibility

OllaAI operates the Service with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, OllaAI is not responsible for loss caused by a user's conduct, an external-service outage, or force majeure. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for OllaAI's willful misconduct, gross negligence, or a duty that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Law, disputes, and contact

The laws of the Republic of Korea govern these Terms. Disputes are submitted to the court with jurisdiction under Korean civil procedure law. Contact: support@olla.talk, +82-10-9611-9152.
